Q: Does this motion detector require a smart home gateway or hub?
A: No. This is a direct WiFi version. It connects directly to your home’s 2.4GHz WiFi router, saving you the cost of additional hardware.
Q: Will it trigger false alarms if I have pets?
A: The advanced thermal sensor filters out small air currents and minor disturbances. For homes with larger pets, we recommend mounting the sensor slightly higher and angling it to avoid floor-level pet pathways.
